Administrative Assistant/Timekeeping

Program Description:

Fedcap Rehabilitation Services, Inc. was launched in 1935 by three WWI veterans who came home from war and could not find work due to their injuries. Essential Functions:

The Timekeeping Administrative Assistant tracks participant attendance within the program and while at off site activities. Maintains multiple databases within the Career Advance program by entering new and updated customer and account information. Respond timely to inquiries and collects all necessary data for participant tracking and reporting.

  • Prepares data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities
  • Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard into multiple internet based databases
  • Scans appropriate documents into various databases
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
  • Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete
  • Tests customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing output
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Runs weekly reports
  • Provides reception coverage, answers phones, accepts documentation via email


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
