Summary of Position:

The Nursing Attendant is a member of a team dedicated to provide the highest quality care and services to our patients by assisting in such functions as maintaining a safe, clean and functional environment; assisting with dietary aspects of care; facilitating communication, i. e., answering phones; transporting patients and assisting visitors. As an integral part of the team, the Nursing Attendant is responsible for activities, which promote patient focused care within the Patient Unit.

Education, Training & Experience:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent with vocational/technical training preferred.
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Graduate of State Certified Program or 1 year clinical experience as a nursing student/foreign graduate nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
