Dental Clerk


  • Registration of patients through Dental and Hospital system.
  • Verification of insurances through Dental and Hospital systems, insurance websites and/or telephone.
  • Scheduling, confirming, and cancelling patient appointments.
  • Scanning dental records including insurance cards, dental registration forms, patient notes, and miscellaneous paperwork.
  • Pulling, filing and merging patient charts.
  • Collecting cash payments and follow Property Departments proper protocols.
  • Distribution of Metro cards to eligible patient and follow Property Departments proper.
  • Financial counseling including monitoring uninsured patients that need to obtain insurances, entering contracts for uncovered treatment, etc.
  • Closing patient visits/encounters on Unity.
  • Purge patient charts, which include reviewing charts, boxing and maintaining accurate logs to send out for storage.
  • Monitor resident clinic schedules, flow of patients in the clinic, patient charts and supplies needed.


A four-year High School diploma or its educational equivalent.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
